R56 MINI Cooper S tune to 195HP

UK based tuner Superchips has revealed its new upgradation for the R56 MINI Cooper S. The tuner has revamped the engine and has optimized the 1.6-liter twin-scroll turbocharged engine timing, fueling and turbo boost parameter.

This optimization has led to the increase in power upto 20HP, now the car delivers a output of 196HP and 282Nm torque.

Supechip announced that the upgrade is available only for MY2006 onwards R56 MINI Cooper S models. The tuner has set the price at 445.00.

Lamborghini Murcielago LP650-4 Roadster Finished in Matte Black

As you might be knowing that there are only 50 Lamborghini Murcielago LP650-4 Roadster all over the world. And if you got one , would you ever try to tune it ?. But an owner from the Beverly Hills has changed the Roadster accordingly to his taste.

As the Murcielago LP650-4 Roadster were finished in gray shade along with orange styling touches, the combination which didnt suited to owner’s eye. He changed the whole interior of the car and applied a matte black paint job with high gloss black finish.

He also fitted the roadster with 19-inch three piece forged alloy wheels with a glossy black outer lip and orange highlights on center. He also changed the music system to with a 3-way speaker system which is powered by Alpine PDX series amplifiers delivering power output of 1600watts.

He did not introduced any changes under the hood and kept the same 6.5-liter V12 engine with 650HP.

Hamann Reveals BMW X6M ahead of Geneva Auto Show

Hamann has released the details of its latest work, the Bmw X6M which is scheduled to debut at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. Hamann has introduced both performance and styling tweaks for the X6.

The Hamann BMW X6M comes with the standard engine which is further retuned to boost the power to 670HP from the standard 555HP and the torque to 850Nm from the initial 679Nm.

The tuner has also reprogrammed the ECU and removed the speed limiter , now the car achieves a top speed of 300km/h, as compared to the 249km/h offered in the initial.

Other upgradation includes new sport catalysts, sporty rear muffler with four tailpipes and upgraded suspension system which reduced the ride height by 40mm. In Exterior, the changes are limited to changed spoiler, bigger side panels and set of 22-inch or 23-inch alloy wheels.

Inside you will get new aluminum padels, new steering wheel , new floormats, sporty seats wrapped in leather and many other accessories.

The Pricing details will be revealed at the Geneva Auto Show.

B&B Tunes New Gold R, Gets Power Boost

German tuner, B7B has appeared with its latest tuning project. This time he has tuned the new Golf R 270HP all-wheel drive. B&B has launched performance package and chassis upgrade for the car.

The Engine upgradation comes in three stages, first pushing the 270HP to 310HP, second to 324HP and the third to 362HP.
The performance kit includes a new large turbocharger, sports exhaust system, reprogrammed ECU and new air intake system with new intercooler.

Now the car sprints from 0-100km/h in just 4.8 seconds with a top speed of 280km/h. B&B has also introduced new high performance 8-caliper braking system, adjustable suspension and new set of 18-inch and 19-inch black alloy wheels.

Carlsson to Launch C25 Model at Geneva Auto Show

Carlsson, a well known German Tuner will be launching the Carlsson C25 at this year Geneva Motor Show.

The C25 is a Mercedes-Benz SL which is based on Super-GT churping a power output of 753HP and a torque of 1320Nm. The car is powered by V12 Bi-turbo and sprints from 0-100km/h in just 3.7 seconds with a top speed of 352 km/h.

It will come with various safety features loaded like Pedestrian protection, ESP, ABS, Airbags are added. There will be only 25 C25 units will be made for worldwide buyers with one unit being sold to one country.

Carlsson did not released the pricing details of the car but added that all 25 cars has already been sold.

Lorinser Tunes Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe

The most famous German tuner who is known for tuning Mercedes-Benz, Lorinser, has not come up with its new tuning project. This time he tunes the Mercedes-Benz E class and added a break-like grille to it which seems to be taken from the Acura.

The tuner has also introduced many changes which includes revamped front bumper with integrated LED light , new side skirts, trunk lid spoiler,four pipe exhaust system. and a rear bumper with a diffuser.Lorinser has also lowered the suspension and introduced new set of 20-inch alloys in various designs.

Inside, Lorinser has introduced new aluminium pedals, new instrument cluster, new set of floor mat with leather lining and illuminated door stills.

The German tuner has also said that soon he will also release the performance package for the Benz E-class.

Toyota Mark X G Sports Concept: Tokyo Show 2010

It seem toyota are now targeting the sport enthusiastic user at the 2010 Tokyo Auto Salon with the introduction of G Sports concept model. In same series Toyota has introduced one more concept , the Toyota Mark X G Sports Concept.

The new sports sedan is shown with new front and rear bumper with side air outlets and diffuser , hood, vents, side skirts, carbon fiber roof trunk spoiler. It is based on the Lexus GS.

In exterior, New carbon fiber mirrors, four pipe exhaust system and 20-inch alloy wheels are the upgradation. In Interior the car is provided with new Recaro sport seats, leather steering wheel and transmission lever, while the whole interior is decorated in carbon fiber trim .

In the heart, Toyota has kept the standard Mark X’s 318HP 3.5-liter V6 engine with new upgraded braking system and sports suspension. The new sedan will be launched with the beginning of summer this year.

Toyota FT-86 G Sports Concept Revealed at Tokyo Auto Show 2010

Toyota has revealed its plan on first day of Tokyo Auto Salon to introduce its new sports car under the “G Sports” name. This sports car will be developed in cooperation with Toyota’s racing partner, GAZOO.

The Toyota FT-86 G Sports concept previews tha the Toyota’s upcoming rear-wheel drive compact coupe. The FT-86 G sport concept shown at Tokyo Auto Salon has undergone a series of upgradation. The most important upgrade is turbocharging the Subaru sourced, 2.0-liter engine.

Toyota has not yet revealed the performance figure of the car. Toyota has also done some upgradation in exterior part also which includes new aero kit with blistered wheel arches, carbon fiber hood, air vents, revamped front and rear bumpers, new set of 19-inch alloy and a new rear wing. While in Interior only new Recaro bucket seats has been introduced.

Tommy Kaira Shows its tuned Nissan GT-R R35 Ebbrezza-R at Tokyo Auto Salon

Tommy Kaira has revealed its hot sizzling tuned Nissan GT-R R35 with styling and performance upgrades at the 2010 Tokyo Auto Salon.

Tommy has tuned the exterior with new aero kit timmed with carbon fiber, new front bumber with a lip spoiler, side skirts, rear wing and diffuser along with a underspoiler. Tommy has also introduced a new set of 20-inch multispoke alloy wheel.

In interior alot of work has been done by tommy , the cabin is now wrapped in combination of red and Alcantata and burgundy colored. Hand stitched leather trim with white seams has also been used in upholstery. New Black Recaro bucket seats, unique floor mats and carbon fiber decoratives are also been included in interior upgrades.

Underhood tommy has introduced only limited performance kit which includes a sport titanium exhaust system, high performance brakes and a sport suspension system.

Mopar Launches exterior kits for Dodge Challenger

Mopar has introduced new kits for Dodge Challenger as a new gift to all Dodge lover. At present Mopar has introduced only exterior kit, no news about engine tuning as of now.

The exterior kit includes body coloured hood with scoop, body-coloured rear spoiler and strobe performance graphics. It will cost around $1,995 at your pocket.

For Interior, Mopar has introudced a new Mopar-branded T-handle shifter, new bright pedal kit, bright door-sill guards, new premium floor mats and full vehicle cover. The interior package is priced t $945 for automatic version and $780 for car with manual gearbox.
