Piaggio Vehicles has revealed the iconic Vespa scooters at the Auto Expo. The Vespa is the world’s first scooter launched in 1946 and presently it is sold in over 100 countries. Piaggio is planning to introduce the Vespa scooter in Indian market as a premium vehicle. The company has setup a modern manufacturing unit at Baramati for the production of Vespa.
